Ludington woman sent to prison on drug charges.
LUDINGTON — A 29-year-old Ludington woman was sentenced to prison for drug manufacturing/selling Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2022, in Mason County’s 51st Circuit Court. Stephanie Wheeler was sentenced to three concurrent terms of four to 20 years in prison on the charges of controlled substance delivery/manufacturing methamphetamine. A fourth count of the same charge was dismissed as part of a plea agreement with the Mason County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
Wheeler was arrested by the State, Sheriff’s, Chief’s Enforcement of Narcotics Team (SSCENT) for the offense that took place on Feb. 14, 2022. She was arraigned in 79th District Court on May 9. On July 19 she pleaded guilty to three of the four counts.
