VICTORY TOWNSHIP — West Shore Community College will be holding open auditions on Wednesday, December 15 and Thursday, December 16 at 7 p.m. for an upcoming production of the musical “Footloose.”
The production based on the 1984 motion picture will open March 3 and will be directed by Michelle Kiessel.
Those auditioning should come prepared to sing a song of their choice that demonstrates their vocal range and ability, Kiessel said. Vocal auditions will be followed by reading from the script and a separate dance audition. Participants are asked to come dressed in clothing and shoes that allow freedom of movement.
Students, first timers, seasoned actors, or potential crew members are encouraged to attend auditions at the Center Stage Theater in the Arts and Sciences Building on the college’s main campus.
For more information on the production and auditions, contact Kiessel via email at mkiessel@westshore.edu.
The production will run March 3-5 and 10-12 at 7:30 p.m. and March 6, 12-13 at 2 p.m.
