LUDINGTON — The following criminal proceedings took place in Mason County’s 79th District Court:
Felonies
-Bret David Zacharda, 51, of PO Box 735, Ludington, was arrested Feb. 25 by SSCENT on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine/ecstasy). Probable cause hearing: Sept. 22 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $5,000 personal recognizance.
-Allen Michael Mallison, 33, no address listed, was arrested Sept. 4 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine/ecstasy). Probable cause hearing: Sept. 15 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $1,000 cash.
-Scott David Alexander, 59, no address listed, was arrested Sept. 4 by MCSO on felony charges of interfering with an electronic communications device and second offense domestic violence. Probable cause hearing: Sept. 15 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500 cash.
-Denis Cruz, 27, of 3155 S. Stiles Rd., Riverton Township, was arrested Sept. 7 by SSCENT on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine/ecstasy). Probable cause hearing: Sept. 22 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500 cash.
-Ashley Nicole Reim, 37, of 724 E. Wilson Rd., Custer Township, was arrested Sept. 5 by MCSO on felony charges of third offense domestic violence and four offense habitual offender. Probable cause hearing: Sept. 22 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $750 cash.
-Shane Thomas Wardlow, 39, of 717 N. Washington Ave., Ludington, was arrested Sept. 2 by the Ludington Police Department (LPD) on a felony charge of assault with a dangerous weapon (felonious assault). Probable cause hearing: Sept. 15 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $500 cash.
Misdemeanors
-Denise Cruz, 27, of 3155 S. Stiles Rd., Riverton Township; Sept. 7; MCSO; fourth degree child abuse. Pretrial: Sept. 22 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500 personal recognizance.
-Ernest Earl Jones, 37, of 1675 Siemen Rd., Wellston; Sept. 6; Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO); driving while license suspended (DWLS). Pretrial: Sept. 13 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $100 cash.
-Forrestt Leon Tenney, 17, of 603 E. Melendy St., Apt. 2, Ludington; Aug. 13; LPD; larceny. Pretrial: TBD. Bail: $250 cash.
-Isabella Rae Hradel, 17, of 788 W. Freesoil Rd., Freesoil Township; Sept. 8; MCSO; domestic violence. Pretrial: Sept. 20 at 2:45 p.m. Bail: $2,500 personal recognizance.
Sentencings
-Donald Thomas Miller, 33, of 1047 N. Rath, Ludington, pleaded guilty Sept. 7 to breaking and entering and was sentenced to 90 days in jail with credit for 90 days served and $185 in fines/costs. A charge of larceny was dismissed.
-Cody Robert Patterson, 22, of 216 E. Danaher St., Ludington, pleaded guilty Sept. 7 to breaking and entering a vehicle to steal property and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail for one year; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs; no marijuana/controlled substances; must have evaluation at CMH and follow recommendations; must seek and maintain employment or be enrolled in school; and $285 in fines/costs. Two addition counts of breaking and entering a vehicle to steal property were dismissed.
-April Dawn Beck, 44, of 902 N. Washington Ave., Apt. 8, Ludington, pleaded guilty Sept. 7 to disorderly person jostling and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; no contact with the victim; must continue current counseling program; and $310 in fines/costs. A charge of assault and battery was dismissed.
-Austin Lee Beck, 24, of 17 Remington Rd., Mauston, Wisconsin, pleaded guilty Sept. 7 to operating a vehicle while under the influence of liquor (OUIL) and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs; must have substance abuse evaluation; must attend victim’s impact panel; must complete alcohol highway safety education; and $895 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to Secretary of State.
-Ashley Nicole Martinsen, 32, of 708 E. Fifth St., Apt. 2, Ludington, pleaded guilty Sept. 7 to disorderly person jostling and was sentenced to pay $310 in fines/costs and have no contact with the victim. A charge of domestic violence was dismissed.
