Obituary: Peggy Ann House, 90, of Ludington.
Peggy Ann House, 90, of Ludington passed away Friday, December 4, 2020. She was born January 16, 1930 in Victory Township to Archie and Leola (Sinclair) Stewart. She married the late Richard House on February 29, 1980 in Ludington.
She worked in the billing department at Oakview Medical Care Facility. When she wasn’t working, Peggy would volunteer her time with the patients there. Peggy loved life. She enjoyed a cold beer with family and friends and winter camping with Dick. Peggy and Dick loved to travel across the country with their beloved beagle, Spike. After Dick’s passing, Peggy enjoyed word search books and puzzles.
Peggy is survived by her sons, Donald (Robin) Thomas of Vero Beach, Fla. and Robert (Deb)Thomas of Post Falls, Idaha; her daughter, Tammy (Rick) Brunke of Ludington; her stepsons, Bill (Terry) House of Thompsonville and Ernie House of Jacksonville, Fla.; her grandchildren, Erin and Jason Lindsey, Elisabeth and James Bloodworth, Briana Nelson, Jessica Thomas, Kelly and Jon Thomas, Lisa and Brad Eskew; her step-grandchildren, Stephanie (Todd) Galdes, Chelsea (George) Malinoff, Urban, Henrik, and Grady Galdes, Locke and Able Malinoff, Tommy and Margot Schaffler, Jennifer (Pat) Schaffler, Josh (Tenisha) House and their children Jaylen and Tess; her nine step-great grandchildren; and her half siblings, Larry (Monica) Stewart and MaryJo Stewart.
Besides her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Dick” House in 2005; her stepdaughter, Mary (Doug) Caswell; and her brother, Roger Stewart.
A celebration of life will be held July 20, 2021 at 11 a.m. at the Oak Grove Funeral Home in Ludington. Family will greet friends starting at 10 a.m. Peggy will be laid to rest at Bachelor Cemetery in Sheridan Township.
