LUDINGTON — The following were recently arraigned in Mason County’s 79^th District Court:

Felonies

Southern

-Dustin Ried Southern, 34, of 926 S. Dennis Rd., Amber Township, was arrested June 15 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) on felony charges of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine/ecstasy) and second offense habitual offender. Probable cause hearing: June 23 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $20,000 cash.

Somsel

-April Lynn Somsel, 46, of 756 N. Meyers Rd., Amber Township, was arrested June 9 by MCSO on felony charges of third offense domestic violence and fourth offense habitual offender. Probable cause hearing: June 23 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $10,000 cash.

Lanore

-Jamie Lynn Lanore, 37, of 3747 N. M-37, Baldwin, was arrested Feb. 21 by the Ludington Police Department (LPD) on a felony charge of carrying a concealed weapon. Probable cause hearing: TBD. Bail: $2,500 personal recognizance. 

Strouse

-Jessica Lee Strouse, 36, of PO Box 451, Ludington, was arrested June 10 by MCSO on a felony charge of assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer. Probable cause hearing: June 23 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

Misdemeanors

Perez

-Tarra Anne Perez, 39, of 301 Crowley St., Scottville; June 11; Scottville Police Department (SPD); domestic violence. Pretrial: June 21 at 10:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500 personal recognizance. 

-Joseph Paul Oquist, 59, of 106 E. Melendy St., Ludington; June 4; Ludington Police Department (LPD); disorderly person – disturbing the peace. Pretrial: TBD. Bail: $250 cash.

-Duane Steven Lemire, 47, of 6558 W. Beech St., Hamlin Township; June 5; LPD; two counts of assault and battery. Pretrial: TBD. Bail: $250 cash.
