Custer man arrested for felonious assault

LUDINGTON — The Mason County Sheriff’s office arrested a 42-year-old Custer man this afternoon in connection to a felonious assault that took place this morning about 1 a.m.

The warrants for the man’s arrest were served this afternoon by the Mason/Oceana Sheriff’s Response Team. The man is in custody at the Mason County Jail pending arraignment on charges.

The charges were three counts of assault with intent to do great bodily harm, three counts of felony firearm and one count of domestic violence, third offense. Also included was a habitual offender fourth offense notice.
