Scottville to offer swim lessons.
SCOTTVILLE — The City of Scottville will be offering swimming lessons to children this summer at its Riverside Park swimming pool. The city is partnering with swim instructor Tess Hallead-Versluis.
Hallead-Versluis is a certified swimming instructor who has has been a lifeguard and participated in swimming competitions.
Classes are limited to eight kids per session and open for children ages 5 and older. Student must be at least 5-years-old by the start of lessons.
Three sessions will be held: session 1, July 12-15 and July 19-22; session 2, Aug. 2-5; Aug. 9-12; and session 3, Aug. 16-19; Aug. 23-26. Times will be 8 to 8:45 a.m., 9 to 9:45 a.m.; and 10 to 10:45 a.m.
