79^th District Court sentencings, posted Feb. 5, 2021.

LUDINGTON — The following were recently sentenced in Mason County’s 79^th District Court:

-Rolando Jesse Villarreal, 47, of 304 Fifth St., Ludington, pleaded guilty Feb. 2 to second offense operating a vehicle while intoxicated (OWI) and driving while license suspended (DWLS) and was sentenced to 32 days in jail with credit for two days served; one year discretionary jail for two years; must attend AA two times per week for one year; must attend Victim’s Impact Panel; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs; must complete Alcohol Highway Safety Education; and $1,605 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to Secretary of State (SOS). A charge of refusing a preliminary breath test was dismissed.

-Devin Glenn Urie, 24, of 1120 S. Lafayette St., Greenville, pleaded guilty Feb. 2 to DWLS and was sentenced to pay $285 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

-Floyd Jerome Straley, 71, of 6162 N. Loggers Ln., Hamlin Township, pleaded guilty Feb. 2 to stalking and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; one year discretionary jail for two years; no contact with the victim; must not own or possess a firearm for two years other than hunting with his sons; any guns in the home must be kept under lock and key; may leave Michigan only to visit home in Florida or to visit relatives; must continue current mental health counseling; and $755 in fines/costs. A charge of aggravated stalking was dismissed.

– Bryan James Prachar, 39, of 807 S. Madison St., Apt. 2, Ludington, pleaded guilty Feb. 2 to domestic violence and was sentenced to three days in jail with credit for three days served; 93 days discretionary jail for two years; must have a substance use and anger management evaluation; no drugs/alcohol/marijuana/controlled substances; subject to random PBTs and drug tests; and $595 in fines/costs.
