Obituary: James Parrinello, 38, of Sterling Heights. 

James Michael Parrinello, 38, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 17, 2021.

He was born May 7, 1982, the son of James and Michele Parrinello, of Scottville.

James was a 2000 graduate of Mason County Central and a United States Navy veteran, Golden Gloves Boxing champion, and a dedicated artist who enjoyed helping others. He loved to make people laugh and would go out of his way to make someone’s day.

James is survived by his wife, Laurie Parrinello; three children, Robert Holden, Madison Nicole and Alex James Michael; his parents; four siblings, Raymond Parrinello, Jaime Voisin, Jeniffer Parrinello and Joseph Parrinello; and several nieces and nephews.

A service was held Jan. 30 at 11 a.m. at St. Ephrem Catholic Church in Sterling Heights, Michigan.

There will be a burial service at 11 a.m. on Saturday February 6, 2021 at Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery, 1176 West Merkey Road, Manistee.
