LUDINGTON — The following were recently arraigned in Mason County’s 79^th District Court:

Felonies

Andrus

-Vaughn Anthony Andrus, 34, of 802 N. Rowe St., Apt. 3, Ludington, was arrested Jan. 22 by the Ludington Police Department (LPD) on a felony charge of assault by strangulation. Probable cause hearing: Feb. 3 at 2:30 p.m. Bail: $7,500/10 percent.

Kelley

-Preston Jacob Kelley, 22, of 27 S. Monroe St., Custer, was arrested Dec. 10, 2019 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office on a felony charge of third-degree criminal sexual conduct (victim aged 13 years old but less than 16 years old). Probable cause hearing: Feb. 10 at 2:30 p.m. Bail: $7,500/10 percent.

Hathaway

-Jayden Jasik Hathaway, 20, of 3651 N. Culver Rd., Hamlin Township, was arrested Jan. 28 by LPD on a felony charge of delivery/manufacturing a controlled substance (non-narcotic schedule 1, 2, 3). Probable cause hearing: Feb. 10 at 2:45 p.m. Bail: $7,500/10 percent.

Wood

-Eric James Wood, 36, of 5016 W. Webster Rd., Montague, was arrested Jan. 22 by MCSO on a felony charge of killing/torturing an animal. Probable cause hearing: Feb. 3 at 2:15 p.m. Bail: $5,000,10 percent.

Koster

-Austin Daniel Koster, 31, of 1527 W. State St., Lot 123, Belding, was arrested Jan. 26 by MCSO on a felony charge of failure to return rented property valued between $1,000-$20,000. Probable cause hearing: Feb. 3 at 2:45 p.m. Bail: $5,000/10 percent.

Horsley

-Danyel Rebecca Horsley, 33, no address listed, was arrested Jan. 13 by LPD on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine/ecstasy). Probable cause hearing: Jan. 27 at 1:45 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

Misdemeanors

-Brody Christopher Woods, 20, of 676 N. Stiles Rd., Amber Township; Jan. 23; Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO); disorderly conduct/disturbing the peace. Pretrial: Feb. 1 at 1:45 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

-Brittany Leigh Hernandez, 33, of 509 N. Lavinia St., Ludington; Jan. 24; Ludington Police Department (LPD); second offense domestic violence. Pretrial: Feb. 8 at 1:30 p.m. Bail: $2,500 personal recognizance.

-Stephen Allan Lange, 48, no address listed; Jan. 25; LPD; second offense domestic violence. Pretrial: Feb. 8 at 10 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

-Brenda Marie Smith, 45, of 926 E. Tinkham Ave., Apt. 305, Ludington; Jan. 21; LPD; domestic violence. Pretrial: Feb. 8 at 1 p.m .Bail: $2,500 personal recognizance.
