Arraignments

LUDINGTON — The following people were arraigned this week in front of the magistrate in 79th District Court.

Felonies

– Larry Casarez Ramirez, 56, 2352 S. Meyers Road, Riverton Twp., was arrested on March 15 by SSCENT for bond absconding or forfeiting. A bond of cash/surety was set for $10,000 bail. A preliminary examination in front of the judge is scheduled for March 27 at 11:15 a.m.
– Taylor Miles Densmore, 23, 612 N. Lakeshore Dr., Apt. 40, Ludington, was arrested on March 17 by LPD for assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer. Bond, 10% of $3,500 bail. Pre: March 27, 11:15 a.m.
– Gary Lee Stauffer, 56, 1040 N. Jebavy Dr., Pere Marquette Twp., was arrested on March 19 by MCSD for criminal sexual conduct third degree. Bond, cash/surety of $10,000 bail. Pre: March 27, 11:15 a.m.
– Thomas Alan Battice, 47, was arrested by MCSD for three counts of criminal sexual conduct first degree, habitual offender (fourth offense). Bond, 10% for $50,000 bail.

Misdemeanors
– Casey Lynn Fortich, 36, 35 N. Rutledge St., Pentwater, was arrested Feb. 27 by SPD for controlled substance possession of marijuana. Bond, personal for $2,500 bail. Pre: April 8, 10:45 a.m.
– Wayne Bradford Wheaton, 44, 6867 E. U.S. 10, Branch Twp., was arrested by MCSD for domestic violence. Bond, 10% for $3,500 bail. Pre: April 1, 11:30 a.m.
– Christopher Michael Belasco, 27, 50 Catherine Ave., Muskegon, was arrested March 16 by MSP for assault and battery. Bond, 10% for $2,500 bail. Pre: april 1, 3 p.m.
– Matthew Charles Newberg, 20, 714 N. Delia St., Ludington, was arrested March 21 by LPD for improper use of medical marijuana. Bond, personal for $2,500 bail. Pre: April 8 at 11:15 a.m.
– Dustin James Horn, 18, 6954 E. U.S. 10, Branch Twp., was arrested by LPD for selling prescription drugs. Bond, personal for $2,500 bail. Pre: April 1 at 2:30 p.m.
– Nicho Blaine Cory, 23, 400 W. Third St., Scottville, was arrested March 20 by MCSD for domestic violence. Bond, 10% of $2,500 bail. Pre: April 1, 2:45 p.m.
