Stuff the Blue Goose Friday.

LUDINGTON — The Hart post of the Michigan State Police will conduct an event, Stuff a Blue Goose for Christmas, Friday, Dec. 11, from 3-7 p.m. to benefit the less fortunate in the Hart and Ludington areas.

“We have long referred to our patrol car as a ‘Blue Goose,’ and we hope to stuff the patrol car full of new toys and non-perishable items this year,” states Trooper Todd Goodrich.

“We are planning to have a Michigan State Police patrol car situated at the Walmart store in Ludington. We will have troopers at this location accepting the donations.

“Our goal is to collect as many new toys and food items as possible during this four-hour period,” states Trooper Goodrich. “All the donated items will be turned over to the Salvation Army for distribution to the families in need. This year, there has been an increase in the number of families who can benefit from this program.”
