Ludington city buildings, senior center, closed to public.
LUDINGTON — The City of Ludington will close all its buildings to the public beginning at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 18, in compliance with the latest emergency orders from the state. Buildings will remain closed until at least Dec. 7. Anyone needing city services or who have a previously scheduled appointment should call the respective office before traveling to a city building.
Business may be conducted via U.S. Postal Service, phone call, the night drop-box or online at www.ludington.mi.us. The night drop-box will be processed continually. Staff will be available via phone at the city, department of public works, and the police department during regular working hours. If you call the city office at 231-845-6237, we can mail or email copies of bills and invoices if needed.
In addition, the following in-person meetings scheduled for the time period City Hall will be closed have been moved to virtual, Zoom, meetings:
- Cemetery, Parks and Recreation (November 17 at 6 p.m.);
- Finance and Personnel (November 18 at 4 p.m.);
- Public Safety/Public Utilities (November 19 at 2 p.m.);
- Planning Commission (December 2 at 6:30 p.m.).
The meeting login information will be posted to the City website with updated notices and agendas.
In addition, all activities scheduled for the Ludington Senior Center are postponed until conditions determine it is safe to reopen. See the center’s website for information regarding virtual fitness classes or other offerings at this time.
