Amber to appoint new trustee, approve new budget

AMBER TWP. — The Amber Township Board of Trustees is expected to appoint a new trustee during its regular meeting this afternoon. The appointment fills a vacancy left by Jim Gallie Sr. when he was appointed as supervisor last month. Gallie replaced Larry Donovan, who resigned due to illness. Donovan passed away earlier this month.

The board is also expected to take action on its 2013/2014 budget. It will meet at 4 p.m. at the township hall, located on South Amber Road.
