79th District Court verdicts, posted Sept. 18, 2020.

LUDINGTON — The following were recently sentenced in Mason County’s 79th District Court:
-Kurt Edward Riley, 54, of 4160 Valley Vista Dr., Apt. 101, Hudsonville, pleaded guilty Sept. 15 to operating a vehicle while impaired by liquor (OWIL) and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; ordered to Pine Rest treatment facility; must attend victim’s impact panel; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs; and $895 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to Secretary of State (SOS). Charges of operating while a blood alcohol level over .17 and speeding more than 35 mph over the limit were dismissed.
-James Edward Martin, Jr., 25, of 606 King St., Ionia, pleaded guilty Sept. 15 to OWIL and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend Mother’s Against Drunk Driving program; must attend victim’s impact panel; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs; and $895 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.
-Christopher Lloyd Rosenow, 41, of 451 Free Soil Rd., Grant Township, pleaded guilty Sept. 15 to driving while license suspended (DWLS) and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; and $285 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS. Charges of operating without insurance and operating an unregistered vehicle were dismissed.
-Brody Phillip Minzey, 24, of 13726 State Rd., Nunica, pleaded guilty Sept. 15 to recreational trespassing and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $585 in fines/costs. Charges of breaking and entering and malicious destruction of a building were dismissed.
Dismissals
-Stewart Albert Rickert, III, 33, of 1334 Drent Rd., Muskegon, had charges of assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder, domestic violence, and fourth offense habitual offender dismissed on Sept. 14. According to court records, further prosecution is not warranted in the interest of justice.
-Jessica Ann Woodring, 27, of 7019 E. Stolberg Rd., Sheridan Township, had a charge of operating without insurance dismissed on Sept. 14. According to court records, charges were dropped due to hardship reasons and because she has insurance on the vehicle she is currently driving.
-Devin Latrell Castonia, 25, of 600 Sherman Oaks Ct., Apt. 621, Ludington, had a charge of operating without insurance dismissed on Sept. 14 after pleading guilty to a civil charge of having no proof of insurance.
-Brandon Matthew Jablonski, 28, of PO Box 101, Walhalla, had a charge of operating without insurance dismissed on Sept. 14 after pleading guilty to a civil charge of having no proof of insurance.
