Larceny of firearms among recent arraignments.

LUDINGTON — The following were recently arraigned in Mason County’s 79^th District Court:

Felonies

Kline

-William Robert Kline, 41, homeless, was arrested Nov. 5, 2019 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) on a felony charge of larceny of firearms. Probable cause hearing: Sept. 16 at 2:15 p.m. Bail: $25,000 cash.

McCartney

-Dorothy Louise McCartney, 60, of 145 Natasha Dr., Noblesville, IN, was arrested Sept. 9 by the Ludington Police Department (LPD) on a felony charge of third offense operating a vehicle while under the influence of liquor (OUIL) and a misdemeanor charge of transporting an open intoxicant in a motor vehicle. Probable cause hearing: Sept. 23 at 1:30 p.m. Bail: $10,000 cash

Smith

-Crandal Lee Smith, 57, of 5405 Rasmussen Rd., Pere Marquette Township, was arrested Sept. 5 by MCSO of a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine/ecstasy). Probable cause hearing: Sept. 16 at 2:30 p.m. Bail: $10,000 cash.

Langejeans

-Codey Steven Langejeans, 26, of 8973 Four Winns Ln., West Olive, was arrested Sept. 6 by MCSO on a felony charge of assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder and a misdemeanor charge of domestic violence. Probable cause hearing: Sept. 16 at 2:45 p.m. Bail: $7,500/10 percent.

Misdemeanors

-Jay Ralph Lavengood, 62, of 512 W. Pere Marquette, Big Rapids; Sept. 5; Ludington Police Department (LPD); operating a vehicle while intoxicated (OWI). Pretrial: TBD. Bail: $500 personal recognizance. 

-Donald Jacob Beck, 32, of 402 Fourth St., Apt. 4, Ludington; Sept. 5; MCSO; failure to maintain security (no vehicle insurance). Pretrial: Oct. 12 at 10 a.m. Bail: $2,500 personal recognizance.
