DTE hosting Hamlin residential gas meeting today

HAMLIN TWP. — DTE is hosting an informational meeting today to discuss extending its residential natural gas line in Hamlin Township. The meeting is at the Hamlin Township Hall at 5:30 p.m.

Anita Alexander, who lives in a subdivision near North Lincoln Road, said she is interested in attending because she and her husband would like to switch from propane to natural gas. She said she received information on the meeting because township Supervisor Nancy Vandervest called her. However, apparently some residents received brochures in the mail.
