Branch man charged with rape of juvenile.

BRANCH TOWNSHIP — Dale Allyn Lifer, 29, of 6213 E. Hansen Road was arrested Saturday, May 16, 2020 and charged with criminal sexual conduct first degree. According to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole, deputies responded to a residence in Scottville at 12:08 p.m. Saturday regarding a criminal sexual conduct (rape) complaint involving a juvenile female and an adult male family member.
Cole said deputies learned the alleged assault took place in the 6000 block of East Hansen Road, Branch Township.

Lifer was arraigned in 79th District Court and could face up to life in prison. A probable cause hearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on May 27, 2020. Lifer was released on bail, which was set at $10,000 cash surety.
