BRANCH TOWNSHIP — Kody Michael, Shriver, 28, of 7919 E. Navajo Trail has been arraigned in 79th District Court on the charge of assault by strangulation following an incident that took place at his residence on Friday, March 6, at 7:43 a.m. He was arrested by Mason County Sheriff’s Office. 

Assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder; assault by strangulation or suffocation is a felony punishable by up to 10 years imprisonment and/or a fine of $5,000. 

A probable cause hearing is scheduled for March 18 at 1:30 p.m. 

Bail was set at $10,000; he was released from the Mason County Jail on March 7.
