CTE students to hold vehicle safety program at Napa on Wednesday.

West Shore School News is a presentation of the West Shore Educational Service District in coordination with Mason County Press/Oceana County Press.

AMBER TOWNSHIP — Students in the West Shore Educational Service District’s Career Technical Education Criminal Justice class will hold a vehicle safety program on Wednesday, March 11 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Napa Auto Parts of Ludington, 3351 W. US 10.

The high school students are participating in the Strive 4 a Safer Drive (S4SD) campaign, sponsored by Ford Driving Skills for Life and the Michigan Office of Highway Safety Planning, in an effort to reducing serious traffic crashes, injuries, and fatalities among teen drivers. The program received $1,000 to develop and implement the peer-to-peer traffic safety awareness campaign.

The West Shore Educational Service District is funded through the support of taxpayers in Mason, Lake, and Oceana counties.
