LUDINGTON —Marie Marfia’s Bonafide Gallery and studio is located at 307 S. James St. Marie’s chalk pastel artwork is a mix of unique landscapes, portraits, and skeletonized replicas of famous paintings.  She credits her 30 years of using color and space as a graphic designer to the success she has with pastels. The skeletons just make her laugh.

“Maker” the word according to Merriam-Webster means, “one who makes” and according to Urban Dictionary, “those who love to create things in their spare time.”

Mason County Press is looking around the local areas to find those who consider themselves Makers. Whether they make things for a living or as a hobby, we will uncover many who have a passion for creating things with their hands and sharing those items with the world.
