LUDINGTON — The following were recently arraigned in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

Felonies

Dewey

-Robert Leslie Dewey, 44, of 3925 N. Stiles Rd., Victory Township, was arrested Dec. 29 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) on two felony counts of assault/resisting/obstructing a police officer. Probable cause hearing: Jan. 8 at 1:30 p.m. Bail: $5,000/10 percent. See related story here.

Misdemeanors

-Christian Fredrick Tramp, 59, of 6500 Stoney Creek Rd., Ypsilanti; Dec. 29; Michigan State Police (MSP); operating a vehicle while intoxicated (OWI) and operating with a high blood alcohol content. Pretrial: Jan. 27 at 2 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

-Jacob Caine Cornwall, 27, of 6465 W. Forest Edge Dr., Hamlin Township; Jan. 1; Ludington Police Department (LPD); OWI. Pretrial: Feb. 3 at 10 a.m. Bail: $250 cash.

-Eric Michael Heath, 38, of 607 E. Sixth St., Ludington; Dec. 26; LPD; public intoxication. Pretrial: Jan. 13 at 11:30 a.m. Bail: $250 cash.

-Austin Alexander Gross, 23, of 1056 N. Jebavy Dr., Pere Marquette Township; Jan. 1; LPD; disorderly person disturbing the peace. Pretrial: Feb. 3 at 10:15 a.m. Bail: $150 cash.

Dismissals

-Michael Scott O’Brien, 50, of 3079 N. Tuttle Rd., Sherman Township, had charges of operating a vehicle without security (no insurance) and operating with a suspended license dismissed without prejudice on Dec. 26 after pleading guilty to a lesser charge.

-Mason Andrew Nehm, 31, of 204 Fourth St., Scottville, had a charge of operating a vehicle without security (no insurance) dismissed without prejudice on Dec. 26 after pleading guilty to a civil infraction.

-Dakota Wayne Moody, 22, of 710 E. Danaher St., Ludington, had a charges of operating an unregistered vehicle and operating a vehicle without security (no insurance) dismissed without prejudice on Dec. 26 after pleading guilty to a civil infraction.

-Nellie Ann Montgomery, 43, of 1600 Jackson Ave., Harrison, had a charge of operating a vehicle without security (no insurance) dismissed without prejudice on Dec. 23 after providing proof of valid insurance.

-Tia Lyn Verboam Odekirk, 30, of 2963 N. Victory Corner, Victory Township, had a charge of operating a vehicle without security (no insurance) dismissed without prejudice on Dec. 26 after pleading guilty to a civil infraction.
