LUDINGTON – The following were sentenced recently in 51st Circuit Court:
– Keila Bay Lankton, 28, of 6191 E. Sugar Grove Rd., Fountain, pleaded guilty Oct. 22 to controlled substance delivery less than 50 grams and “no contest” to prisoner in possession of contraband, Oct. 22. She was sentenced Dec. 3 to serve six months up front of a one-year discretionary jail term with credit for 96 days served; driver’s license suspended 180 days/restricted after 30 days; two years probation; and $598 in fines and costs. Lankton was found guilty of probation violation and was sentenced Dec. 3 to serve 152 days up front of a one-year discretionary jail term with credit for 152 days served; 7411 status is revoked; probation continues with same terms and conditions; and $458 in fines and costs. Probation stems from a May 1, 2018 conviction of controlled substance possession less than 25 grams.
– Elecia Judith-Keeley Bentz, 20, of 16961 Myers Lake Ave., Sand Lake, Michigan, was found guilty Oct. 22 of larceny in a building and was
sentenced Dec. 5 to serve four months up front of a one year discretionary jail term with credit for 100 days served and $1,498 in fines, costs and restitution.
— Heather Marie Vinton, 44, of 6952 Gibson Rd., Walhalla, was found guilty July 23 of larceny $1,000-$20,000 and was sentenced Dec. 3 to serve two months up front (serve on the
weekends) of a one-year discretionary jail term with credit for one day served; 18 months probation; and $726 in fines and costs. The case is to run concurrently to another file in which she was found guilty July 23 of a misdemeanor of controlled substance — use of a narcotic or cocaine and was sentenced Dec. 3 to serve one year in jail (serve on weekends) with credit for one day served.
