Stuff the Blue Goose.
PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP – The Hart post of the Michigan State Police will conduct an event to benefit the less fortunate in the Hart and Ludington areas — Stuff the Blue Goose for Christmas.
The event is set for Friday, Dec. 13, from 3-7 p.m. at the Ludington-area Walmart on US 10.
“We have long referred to our patrol cars as a ‘Blue Goose,’ and we hope to stuff them full of new toys and non-perishable food items this year,” states an MSP press release. “We are planning to have a Michigan State Police patrol car situated at the Walmart in the Ludington. We will have troopers at this location accepting donations.
“Our goal is to accept as many new toys and food items as possible during this four-hour period. All the donated items collected will be turned over to the Salvation Army for distribution to the families in need.”
