West Shore accepting scholarship apps

VICTORY TWP. — West Shore Community College is now accepting scholarship applications from students planning to attend during the 2013-14 academic year. The deadline to apply for scholarships is March 15.

The college, the WSCC Foundation, community groups, and private donors offer numerous scholarships to fit nearly all student academic records, backgrounds, and financial situations.

An admission application must be completed to be eligible for scholarships. To be considered for a need based scholarship, applicants must also complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at www.fafsa.gov

WSCC’s catalogue lists many of the scholarships and gives a brief description and the general eligibility requirements for each. Scholarship information can also be reviewed online at www.westshore.edu by clicking on the financial aid link under the future or current student tabs.
