Dear Editor:
It is difficult to find words that are sufficient to express our gratitude for the love, support, and generosity of our family, friends, and this incredible community! We were truly overwhelmed by the amazing turnout for the benefit that was held. It was a day of great music, food, and a reunion of friends!
Thanks to the generous donations of so many, we were able to raise enough to help with medical expenses not covered by insurance, as well as the travel and time off work required as I go through this difficult time.
A huge thank you to the Ludington Area Center for the Arts for the use of the center to hold the benefit, and to Andy and Ed for all the work they did to set up and clean up. Thanks also to the super team that pulled this together so quickly, including Shelli Coffin, Deb Towns, Tara Hartley, Suzie Lange, Julie Hannah, and Chris Bentz.
Thank you to the musicians from near and far that donated their time and talents, including the Lou Thunder Band, Tyler Reed, John Merchant, The Stinks, Randy Knudsen and friends, Plain Jane Glory (Mike and Laura Boxer), Bryan Fischer, BogWizard, UpRising, The Rainmakers, iOS entertainment (Jeff and Jeremy), and Big Round Sound (Gerald and Greg).
