Riverton man arrested on sex crime involving minor.

LUDINGTON — David Joseph Wildfong, 43, of Riverton Township was arrested by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday March 6, 2019 on charges of criminal sexual conduct (CSC) third degree and CSC fourth degree following a two week investigation. The alleged victim in the case is under the age of 15 and a family friend of the suspect, according to Sheriff Kim Cole.

CSC third degree is a felony punishable by up to 15 years imprisonment while CSC fourth degree is a misdemeanor punishable by up to two years imprisonment. Wildfong was arraigned in 79th District Court on Thursday, March 7. He is currently lodged in the Mason County Jail on a $50,000 cash/surety bond.
