LUDINGTON – The following were sentenced recently in 79th District Court:
– Westley Michael Badour, 20, homeless, was found guilty Oct. 31 of larceny less than $200 and was sentenced to 28 days in jail with credit for 28 days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must seek and maintain employment; no alcohol/drugs; subject to random preliminary breath tests (PBTs) and drug tests; no further involvement with co-defendants; $595 in fines and costs; and $62.50 in restitution. One count of receiving and concealing stolen property less than $200 was dismissed.
– Billy Jack Mayse, 38, of 3571 E. Decker Rd., Custer Township , was found guilty Oct. 30 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to 10 days in jail with credit for 10 days served; Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend next session of the Victims’ Impact Panel; no alcohol/drugs; subject to random PBTs; and $895 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS). Charges of child endangerment and operating with a blood alcohol content (BAC) of .17 or more were dismissed.
– Sue Ellen Parker, 38, of 105 Fourth St., Ludington, was found guilty Oct. 30 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; AHSE; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend next session of the Victims’ Impact Panel; no alcohol/drugs; subject to random PBTs; and $895 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
Dismissal
– Dustin James Videtich-Munoz, 31, of 86 Chapita Hills Rd., Shelby, two counts of third-degree retail fraud were dismissed Oct. 30. “Co-defendant took sole responsibility for this,” his court file states.
