Ludington woman arrested on multiple charges following traffic stop.

PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — A 26-year-old Ludington woman was arrested Tuesday night by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office on two outstanding warrants and driving while license suspended. The arrest followed a traffic stop on US 10 east of Pere Marquette Highway. The warrants included a charge of possession of cocaine, a felony from Mason County, along with a felony unlawfully driving away a vehicle charge from Lake County. Deputies also recovered suspected stolen property from the vehicle, possibly from a retail fraud complaint that took place at 9:51 a.m. at Express Mart, 5587 W. US 10.
Other activity of local law enforcement for Tuesday, June 27, 2018, included:
- 11:20 a.m., MCSO, car/deer crash, no injuries, Lakeshore Drive north of Sugar Grove Road, Hamlin Township.
- 1:57 p.m., MCSO, larceny, Lake Street, Summit Township. Homeowner noticed assorted items missing from garage.
- 5:18 p.m., MCSO, illegal dumping, Stephen and Hasenbank roads, Free Soil Township. Complainant reported several bags of trash dumped on the roadside. The case remains under investigation.
