Obituary: Donald Cable, 63, Walhalla.

Donald W. Cable, 63, of Walhalla passed away Friday, April 27, 2018. He was born February 1, 1952 in Ludington to Donald and Marjorie (Hobson) Cable. Don graduated from Mason County Eastern High School in 1970. Don began driving semi right out of high school. He worked for PepsiCo for over 20 years. He retired from Quick Way after over 20 years driving there.

In his spare time, Don enjoyed hunting and fishing, but he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren the most.

He will be greatly missed by his mother, Marjorie Cable of Midland; his children, Donald Cable of Ludington and Jennifer (Ryan) Tyndall of Fountain; his three grandchildren, Lyndi May, Ryan George Jr., and Allen Wayne Tyndall; his sisters, Pam (Greg) Kava of Midland and Lori (Phil) Steinberg of Lakeland, Fla.; and his brother, John Cable of Midland.

Don was preceded in death by his father, Donald Leroy Cable and his sister Diane Wright-Thomas.

A celebration of Life Gathering will be held Friday, May 4, 2018 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Oak Grove Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Ludington.
