LUDINGTON — The following were recently arraigned in Mason County’s 79th District Court:
Felonies
-Marcos Moses Zamora, 22, of 507 N. Harrison St., Ludington, was arrested June 2 by the Ludington Police Department (LPD) on felony charges of first-degree home invasion, possession of marijuana, domestic violence and assault & battery. Preliminary hearing: June 21 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $10,000 cash/surety.
-Kifah Michael Kashat, 59, of 34376 Jefferson Ave., Harrison Township, Michigan, was arrested June 2 by LPD on felony charges of possession of cocaine and second-offense possession of marijuana. Preliminary hearing: June 21 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $7,500/10 percent.
-Anthony Jordan Genta, 32, of 1857 N. Kennedy, Hamlin Township, was arrested May 31 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance and a misdemeanor charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated or under the influence(OWI). Preliminary hearing: June 21 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $5,000/10 percent.
Misdemeanors
-Jeffery Clay Young, 47, of 6571 Beech St., Sheridan Township; June 5; MCSO; driving a vehicle while license suspended (DWLS), operating a vehicle without security (no insurance), failure to report an accident, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle. Pretrial: June 26 at 2 p.m. Bail: $5,000/10 percent.
-Matthew Jason Case, 44, of 6413 Duneview Dr., Hamlin Township; May 26; MCSO; assault & battery. Pretrial: June 19 at 9:15 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.
-Adam Lee Passarelli, 28, no address listed; June 4; LPD; possession of marijuana and assault & battery. Pretrial: July 3 at 1:30 p.m. Bail: $2,500 personal.
-Jeremy Ray Parker, 37, of 2850 E. Millerton Rd., Sherman Township; May 30; LPD; larceny. Pretrial: June 26 at 10:15 a.m. Bail: $3,500/10 percent.
79th District Court sentencings:
-Rodney Duane Long, 49, of 2263 Cresent Dr., Graham, North Carolina, pleaded guilty June 5 to driving while license suspended (DWLS) and was sentenced to 93 days discretionary jail for one year, 12 months of probation, and $285 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to Secretary of State.
Dismissals
Tyrone Esau McNeely, 20, of 7077 E. US-10, Branch, had a charge of possession of alcohol by a minor dismissed on June 5 per a plea agreement in his felony case.
