PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — Two Ludington women, ages 35 and 26, were arrested by deputies from the Mason County sheriff’s Office Tuesday, Sept. 20, at 8:50 p.m. after they were reportedly found in possession of 20 articles of stolen merchandise at Dollar General on West US 10.
“The call originated after a store employee witnessed the incident and called 911,” said Sheriff Kim Cole. “Both were caught in the parking lot of the store. The 35-year-old was also arrested on an outstanding Wexford County Friend of the Court warrant.”
In a separate incident, an 18-year-old Lansing man was arrested in the 5000 block of West Kistler Road in Summit Township Tuesday at 9:19 p.m. by MCSO on an outstanding felony warrant issued by the Lansing Police Department, charging the suspect with four counts of criminal sexual conduct (CSC).
