Ludington woman injured in Amber Twp. crash.

AMBER TOWNSHIP — A 60-year-old Ludington woman was injured following a single vehicle crash on Hansen Road between Victory Corners and Dennis roads Saturday morning just after midnight. The woman was driving east on Hansen Road when she apparently lost control of her SUV. The vehicle rolled over multiple times, went over a guardrail and then down an embankment on the north side of the road. The woman was ejected during the crash. After being transported by ambulance to Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital, she was then transported by AeroMed ambulance to a Grand Rapids medical facility.

Responding to the scene were Mason County Sheriff’s Office, Scottville Fire Department, Ludington Fire Department, Life EMS, and Pere Marquette Fire Department, whose ladder truck was used in the investigation.

Hansen Road remained closed during the crash.
