Seniors encouraged to complete survey.

April 6, 2016

The Area Agency on Aging of Western Michigan (AAAWM) is conducting a needs survey for older adults and is looking for more opinions from Mason County area seniors, individuals who work with the senior population, have older family members or who may be providing care to elder loved ones.  The deadline for the survey is April 8 and AAAWM.

“I encourage all Mason County residents to take a few moments to complete the survey as these results help us identify any needs that may be unique to the Mason community,” said Sandra Ghoston Jones, planner at AAAWM. “Mason County is one of the nine counties we serve and we value the opinions of those who live and work in Mason County.”

The survey can be accessed by clicking on http://bit.ly/1SDckTq and people can also call the office at (616) 456-5664 to request a paper copy mailed to them.

All those who complete the survey will be entered into a drawing for a $50 gift card.

Since 1974, AAAWM has existed to provide older persons and persons with a disability an array of services designed to promote independence and dignity in their homes and their communities. AAAWM serves older adults and individuals with disabilities in Allegan, Ionia, Kent, Lake, Mason, Mecosta, Montcalm, Newaygo and Osceola counties.
