Free Soil celebrates Christmas today.

FREE SOIL — Christmas in the Village is being celebrated today with activities beginning at 2 p.m. The event will feature food, crafts, games and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. The community Christmas tree will be lit at 5 p.m., the finale of the event.

The event takes place at the Free Soil Community Center (former Free Soil School) on North Democrat Street.
