LUDINGTON — The Mason County Walley Association will hold its annual dinner, A Hometown Fish Dinner, on Saturday, June 20 at the Ludington Boat Club. The event begins with appetizers from 4:30 to 5 p.m. and dinner and presentation from 5 to 8 p.m. There will also be a silent auction and door prizes. Cost is $20 per person.
The event is the association’s main fund raiser. The Mason County Walleye Association maintains the only fishery in Mason County, which is considered the most productive fishery in northwestern Michigan. It has existed since 1989 and has transplanted 1.3 million fingerlings in Mason County waters and more than 3.7 million for the entire region.
Live music will be provided by Lutroit.
