‘Intoxicated man stumbling in traffic’ arrested at US-31 on-ramp; dirt bikes stolen from barn

PERE MARQUETTE TWP. — After police responded to a reported “intoxicated man stumbling in traffic” Sunday, March 22, a 1:13 a.m. on Pere Marquette Highway at the US-31 on-ramp, a 33- year-old Muskegon man was arrested on an outstanding Muskegon Heights warrant, charging him with aggravated/domestic assault and malicious destruction of property under $200, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole. Mason County Sheriff’s Office and the Michigan State Police were dispatched to the scene.

In a separate incident, two Honda dirt bikes were stolen from a barn Saturday in the 7800 block of East Anthony in Logan Township. The breaking and entering was reported to the MCSO at 1:53 p.m. The 70cc and the 50cc dirt bikes are both red and black, according to Cole.
