LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced recently in 79th District Court:
– Kehley Lynne Hansen, 28, of 7309 E. Sugar Grove Rd., Fountain, was found guilty March 16 of driving while license expired and sentenced to $225 in fines and costs and 90 days discretionary jail for one year. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).
– Eric J. Woods, 30, of 6735 Butters Rd., Fountain, was found guilty March 16 of allowing a person to drive in violation and sentenced to $335 in fines and costs and 90 days discretionary jail for one year.
– John M. Epifanio, 39, of 255 W. 94th St., Apt. 16A, New York, was found guilty March 10 of operating while intoxicated. He was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; $1,115 in fines and costs; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must have a substance abuse evaluation and follow recommendations; must attend the Victims’ Impact Panel (VIP); must attend AA twice a week; no alcohol/drugs; and subject to random preliminary breath tests (PBTs). Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating with a BAC of .17 or more/super drunk was dismissed.
– Alicia Marie Talmadge, 25, of 508 E. Danaher St., Ludington, was found guilty March 10 of disorderly. She was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; $665 in fines and costs; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; and no contact with the victim. One count of assault and battery was dismissed.
– Mark Henry Curtis, 43, of 508 E. Court St., Ludington, was found guilty March 12 of improper plates/failure to transfer and sentenced to a $175 fine.
– Jesus Reyes-Castaneda, 45, of 813 E. Filer St., Ludington, was found guilty March 12 of failure to display a valid license and sentenced to $275 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
– Jon Howard McKinley III, 25, of 803 E. Loomis St., Ludington, was found guilty March 10 of third-degree retail fraud. He was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; a $125 fine; and 93 days discretionary jail for one year. Restitution is not reserved due to payment of Walmart’s civil fee.
– Jeffrey Scott Adamczak, 40, of 5317 N. Thunderbird Dr., Fountain, was found guilty March 12 of driver transporting open intoxicants. He was sentenced to $265 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
– Kimberly Sue Hughes, 59, of 79 Grant St., Manistee, was found guilty March 1 of failure to display a valid license and sentenced to $275 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
– Angel Gutierrez-Darios, 31, of 6782 W. Beech St., Ludington, was found guilty March 12 of failure to display a valid license and sentenced to $275 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
– Tyler Joel Griffin, 23, no address listed, was found guilty March 10 of receiving and concealing stolen property. He was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must seek and maintain employment; no alcohol/drugs; and $665 in fines and costs.
– Brian Kelly Smith, 26, of 7171 E. Stolberg Rd., Fountain, was found guilty March 11 of allowing a person to drive in violation. He was sentenced to nine days in jail with credit for nine days served; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; and $335 in fines and costs.
Dismissal
– Joshua Paul Dorr, 38, of 631 N. Benson Rd., Fountain, one count of operating a motor vehicle without security was dismissed. “Defendant pleaded guilty to a lesser charge per plea agreement,” his court file states.
