SCOTTVILLE — The 24th annual Family Affair was held Saturday at Mason County Central High School. The event featured dozens of booths from organizations and businesses that offer services to area families. Organizers estimated that over 3,000 people visited the event.

One of the highlights of the event was Pete the Cat, a character in a children’s book, that was hidden somewhere in the building. Sydney Gage of Custer found Pete the Cat and won a $100 gift card to Wal-Mart, which was sponsored by the Family Affair committee.
