Police chief on leave.

LUDINGTON — Ludington Police Chief Mark Barnett was recently granted a leave of absence under the Family and Medical Leave Act. Barnett is out of state taking care of a medical condition involving one of his family members, he said.

Ludington City Manager John Shay stated in a press release that Barnett is expected to be returning in early April. Until then, Capt. Mike Harrie is the officer in charge of Ludington Police Department.
