LUDINGTON — The following were sentenced recently in 79th District Court:
– Charles Thomas Comstock, 18, of 410 N. Delia St., Ludington, was found guilty Aug. 18 of driving while unlicensed/never applied. He was sentenced to three days in jail with credit for three days served; $370 in fines and costs; 30 days discretionary jail for one year; and must seek and maintain employment. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).
– Donald Joseph Bodnar, Jr., 44, of 5537 Dowling St., Montague, was found guilty Aug. 15 of allowing a person to drive in violation. He was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year.
– Michael Wayne Smith, 74, of 273 6th Ave., Apt. 201, Manistee, was found guilty Aug. 12 of operating while impaired by liquor. He was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; outpatient treatment; $870 in fines and costs; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; and must attend the next session of the Victims Impact Panel. Conviction reportable to SOS.
– Jeremy Jason Bonneau, 40, of 6765 Ann St., Ludington, was found guilty Aug. 12 of domestic violence. He was sentenced to 93 days with credit for 93 days served; and no contact with victim.
– Jenna Diana Myers, 20, of 4631 W. Deren, Ludington, was found guilty Aug. 12 of second-degree retail fraud. She was sentenced to 60 days in jail with credit for 29 days served; jail term concurrent with time imposed in another matter; one year discretionary jail for one year; must attend Economic Crime Program; $665 in fines and costs; and may perform community service instead of paying some of the fines and costs.
– Reenya Bila-Clinton Burrell, 22, of 408 E. Ludington Ave., Ludington, was found guilty Aug. 12 of assault and battery. She was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; no alcohol/drugs; $720 in fines and costs; and no contact with victim. One count of assault with a dangerous weapon and one count of second-offense domestic violence were dismissed.
– Tonya Ann Johnson, 32, no address listed, was found guilty Aug. 12 of third-degree retail fraud. She was sentenced to 46 days in jail with credit for 46 days served; $665 in fines and costs; inpatient treatment; and 93 days discretionary jail for one year.
– Ronald Rutkowski, 47, of 1463 W. Chauvez Rd., Scottville, was found guilty Aug. 12 of operating while impaired by liquor. He was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; $870 in fines and costs; Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); 93 days discretionary jail for one year; and must attend next session of the Victims Impact Panel. Conviction reportable to SOS.
– Curtis Lawrence Oomen, 31, of 3589 Manales Rd., Fountain, was found guilty Aug. 12 of operating while impaired by liquor. He was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; $870 in fines and costs; outpatient counseling; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; no alcohol/drugs; subject to random preliminary breath tests (PBTs); and must attend next session of the Victims Impact Panel. Conviction reportable to SOS.
– Andrea Mae Johnson, 37, of 823 N. Benson Rd., Fountain, was found guilty Aug. 12 of child endangerment. She was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; $1,660 in fines and costs; AHSE; one year discretionary jail for two years; must attend next session of the Victims Impact Panel; no alcohol/drugs; and subject to random PBTs and drug tests. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of operating with a blood alcohol content (BAC) of .17 or more was dismissed.
– Charles Terreno Perry, 45, of 4709 Maple Hollow Ct., SE, Kentwood, was found guilty Aug. 14 of open intoxicant in a vehicle and sentenced to $265 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.
– James Anthony Patkuak, 63, of 2707 W. Hansen Rd., Ludington, was found guilty Aug. 12 of of operating while impaired by liquor. He was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one days served; $870 in fines and costs; AHSE; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; and must attend next session of the Victims Impact Panel. Conviction reportable to SOS.
– Jason L. Carr, 30, of 1485 Betty Ave., Ludington, was found guilty Aug. 14 of disorderly – trespassing/illegal entry. He was sentenced to five days in jail with credit for five days served; $335 in fines and costs; and not to enter Wesco.
– Allen Michael Mallison, 26, of 512 ½ Danaher St., Ludington, was found guilty Aug. 14 of disorderly conduct – fighting. He was sentenced to $285 in fines and costs.
Dismissals
– Scott Douglas Klinger, 48, of 1731 Independence Ave., Scottville, one count of DWLS was dismissed Aug. 19 per plea agreement with another case.
– Tenna Bromley (no date of birth listed), of 5968 W. Third St., Ludington, two counts of local health department regulation violations were dismissed Aug. 14. “The defendant is of no means to able to repair the situation and the house is purportedly going into foreclosure. Given the circumstances, this matter is more appropriately addressed as a nuisance complaint in circuit court. This will prevent a misdemeanor conviction that stems from indigency and will notify and involve any other lien holders on the property,” court records state.
– Stephen Paul Eilers, 50, of 304 S. Jefferson, Ludington, one count of domestic violence was dismissed Aug. 12. “People cannot prove beyond a reasonable doubt,” court records states.
