3 injured in roll over near Round Lake

SHERIDAN TWP. — Three young adults were injured following a roll-over single vehicle crash early this morning. Emergency crews were called to Sugar Grove Road west of Campbell Road near Round Lake at 2:40 a.m. The crash occurred when a 2006 Ford 500 4-door car ran off of Sugar Grove Road and went into a ditch, striking a tree and rolling over.

A 22-year-old Scottville man, 19-year-old Scottville woman and a 20-year-old Manistee woman were in the vehicle. All three were transported to Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital by Life EMS ambulance. The 19-year-old Scottville woman was then flown by Aeromed helicopter to Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids with critical injuries.

Also responding were Fountain Area Fire and Rescue. The case remains under investigation.
