Lake Jump date changed

2012 Lake Jump

LUDINGTON — The Ludington Lake Jump Board has changed the jump date. Originally scheduled for March 29, 2014 it has been determined with consultation with Ludington Police Chief Mark Barnett, and U.S. Coast Guard Command Senior Chief Sean Cross of Station Ludington the beach is likely to be unsafe to conduct the jump that day. The new date is Saturday, April 12, 2014.

The 2014 Lake Jump beneficiary is The Mason County Veterans Endowment Fund. Originally the Port of Ludington Maritime Museum was the beneficiary. However, that entity will receive funding in 2015.
