Adult/child/infant CPR and first aid training offered

The Great Start Parent Coalition will host an Adult/Child/Infant CPR/First Aid Training on Saturday, Jan. 25 from 9 a.m. to noon at United Methodist Church, 5810 W. Bryant Rd, Ludington.

Certified trainer Lisa Cooper will provide a discounted CPR/First Aid Training for anyone who wishes to attend the class. The discounted rate is $50 which includes all course materials.

American Heart Association adult/child/infant CPR and first aid teaches basic critical skills needed to respond to and manage first aid, choking, sudden cardiac arrest, and other medical emergencies in the first few minutes until first responders or EMS arrives.

Childcare will be provided.

The Great Start Parent Coalitions are part of the Mason-Lake-Oceana Great Start Collaborative which works to assure a coordinated system of community resources and support to help all families in the tri-county area provide a great start for their children from pre-birth to age 8.
