Sheriff’s report, Nov. 25, 2013

The following was the activity of the Mason County Sheriff’s Office from Nov. 25, 2013:

– 4:52 a.m.: Alarm activation, 900 block of North U.S. 31, Custer Township.

– 6:40 a.m.: Single vehicle crash, no injuries, Chauvez and Hogenson roads, Riverton Township; vehicle slide off roadway and into ditch.

– 11:46 a.m.: Two vehicle crash, no injuries, northbound U.S. 31 expressway near Pere Marquette Highway, Amber Township.

– 12:19 p.m.: Slide-off, no injuries, no damage, northbound U.S. 31 near PM Highway, Amber Township.

– 1:11 p.m.: Single vehicle crash, no injuries, southbound U.S. 31 expressway south of PM Highway, PM Township; vehicle slide off roadway into ditch.

– 2:08 p.m.: Single vehicle crash, no injuries, U.S. 31 and Townline Road, Grant Township; vehicle lost control, left roadway and went into ditch.

– 2:29 p.m.: Two vehicle head-on crash, U.S. 31 north of Johnson Road, Amber Township; vehicle driven by 24-year-old Ludington female lost control, slid left of centerline and was struck head-on by a vehicle driven by a 64-year-old Free Soil male. Male was transported to Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital by Life EMS ambulance. Assisted at the scene by Scottville Police Dept., Scottville Fire Dept. and Custer Fire Dept.

– 2:35 p.m.: SIngle vehicle rollover crash, 2 injured, northbound U.S. 31 expressway near rest area, Summit Township; vehicle lost control, went off road into median and rolled over. Thirty-year-old female driver from Mears and 32-year-old passenger from Hart were both treated at Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Driver had to be freed by Ludington Fire Department rescue equipment. Also assisting was PM Fire Department, Michigan State Police and Life EMS.

– 5:07 p.m.: Slide off, no damage or injuries, Scottville and Hawley roads, RIverton Township.

– 5:07 p.m.: Harassment complaint, West Decker Road, Hamlin Township.

– 5:24 p.m.: Fraud complaint, 100 block of North Stiles Road, Amber Township; subject from out of area called complainant advising she had won $5 million and seeking personal information.

– 5:36 p.m.: Gas drive off, $57.98, Scottville EZ Mart, Custer Township.

– 6:18 p.m.: Car/deer crash, no injuries, Chauvez and Hogenson roads, Riverton Township.

– 7:13 p.m.: Vehicle/power pole crash, no injuries, Quarterline and White roads, Grant Township; vehicle lost control, left roadway and struck a pole.

– 7:43 p.m.: Slide off, no injuries/damage, Masten and Kenney roads, Logan Township.
