EDEN TWP. — MCP first reported on the South Darr Road stabbing early this morning. A 37-year-old man was stabbed Sunday night around 10:30 p.m. at his home at 4550 S. Darr Road. He was transported by ambulance to Mason County Airport where he was airlifted by Aeromed to a Grand Rapids hospital. Mason County Sheriff’s Office has reported the wounds were not believed to be life threatening.
A 19-year-old man, who was apparently living at the residence, has been arrested by sheriff’s deputies.
Witnesses have told MCP the incident stemmed from an issue in regards to the 19-year-old male and the 37-year-old’s teen-aged daughter.
CORRECTION: MCP originally reported the victim was 38-years-old.
