79th District Court, as of Sept. 18, 2013

LUDINGTON – The following defendants were sentenced this past week in 79th District Court:

– Timothy Wayne Gonyon, 53, of 773 Bacon Mill Rd., Beulah, was found guilty Sept. 17 of failure to maintain security (no insurance) and DWLS. He was sentenced to two terms of 30 days in jail (which run concurrent to time imposed in the next matter); $250 in fines and costs; one year discretionary jail for two years (for each count); no alcohol/drugs; and subject to random PBTs and random drug tests. Conviction reportable to SOS. One count of giving false information to a police officer was dismissed. He was also found guilty Sept. 17 of operating while impaired by liquor. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for nine days served; $1,145 in fines and costs; 93 days discretionary jail for two years; must attend next session of Victims Impact Panel; no alcohol/drugs; and subject to random PBTs and drugs tests. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Isaac James Finley, 28, of 106 W. Third St., Scottville, was found guilty Sept. 17 of domestic violence. He was sentenced to 93 days in jail and no contact with victim for two years. One count of malicious destruction of personal property was dismissed.

– Kevin Michael Fitzgerald, 29, of 708 N. Rowe St., Ludington, was found guilty Sept. 16 of disorderly person. He was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; no alcohol/drugs; must submit to random PBTs; and $285 in fines and costs.

– Ryan Patrick Tift, 20, of 9524 12 Mile Rd., Big Rapids, was found guilty Sept. 9 of disorderly – disregarding police or fire department. He was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $285 in fines and costs.

– Benjamin Lloyd Parker, 30, of 134 N. Custer Rd., Custer, was found guilty Sept. 12 of improper registration, failure to transfer and was sentenced to $75 in fines and costs.

– Stephanie Lynn Joynes, 31, of 211 E. Johnson Rd., Scottville, was found guilty Sept. 9 of failure to display a valid license and sentenced to $275 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Ashlee Nichole Levine-Bailey, 18, of 543 S. Walhalla Rd., Walhalla, was found guilty Sept. 12 of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and sentenced to $265 in fines and costs.

– Adrian Maxwell Carey, 25, of 501 E. Melendy, Ludington, was found guilty Sep. 5 of loud noise/loud music/disturbing the peace and sentenced to $285 in fines and costs.

– Timothy Lee Comstock, 28, of 5966 S. Morton Rd., Ludington, was found guilty Sept. 9 of failure to report an accident. He was sentenced to $325 in fines and costs; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; and restitution is reserved.

– Kevin Steven Muenzenmeyer, 20, of 2934 Meadowbrook Dr., SE, Grand Rapids, was found guilty Sept. 17 of allowing a person to drive in violation and under 21 – purchase/consume and/or possession. He was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; must attend First Offenders Group; $525 in fines and costs; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend next session of victims Impact Panel; no alcohol/drugs; and subject to random preliminary breath tests (PBTs). One count of operating while intoxicated/under a controlled substance was dismissed.

– Justin Joseph Vandling, 19, of 251 E. Conrad Rd., Scottville, was found guilty Sept. 17 of chemical agents – prohibited uses. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for 10 days served; $580 in fines and costs; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must report to jail Nov. 1 unless enrolled in an inpatient treatment facility; no alcohol/drugs; and must not use keyboard duster or other chemical agents.

– Victor Samuel-Migel Bundy, 30, of 6485 Cherry, Ludington, was found guilty Sept. 17 of operating while impaired by liquor. He was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; Alcohol Highway Safety Education (AHSE); $1,145 in fines and costs; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend next session of the Victim Impact Panel; no alcohol/drugs; and subject to random PBTs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Alejandro Otero, 44, of PO Box 1554, Holland, pleaded no contest June 11 to larceny $200 or more but less than $1,000. He was sentenced Sept. 17 to 27 days in jail with credit for 27 days served; fines, costs and restitution totaling $4,450; one year discretionary jail for two years; restitution amount ($3,870) for the timber is due within 90 days; the restitution amount for the clean-up is reserved; and if after one year, the restitution matters are taken care of, the probationary term will end.
