VICTORY TOWNSHIP — West Shore Community College’s Recreation Center will be closed for renovations starting April 28, with plans to reopen on Sept. 8.
The temporary closure is necessary to complete important mechanical and electrical upgrades to the facility. The college will provide regular updates throughout the renovation process and confirm the reopening date as construction progresses. Information may be found at westshore.edu or by following West Shore Community College.
“While this is a short-term disruption, we’re thrilled about the improvements coming to the Recreation Center,” said Julie Page-Smith, director of the wellness center. “We look forward to welcoming the community back with upgraded fitness equipment and expanded class offerings.”
For those with current memberships, members will be eligible for extensions once the facility reopens. Monthly bank drafts will be canceled as of April 28. Members can re-enroll when the facility reopens in September.
