LUDINGTON — The following were recently arraigned in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

Felonies

Alexander

-Scott David Alexander, 63; third-offense operating a vehicle while under the influence of liquor and driving while license suspended; arrested March 25 by Michigan State Police; arraigned March 26; preliminary hearing: April 16; bail: $50,000 cash.

Battice

-Jaxon Anthony Battice, 20; carrying a concealed weapon, assault with a dangerous weapon, felony firearms, and possession of a controlled substance (analogues); arrested March 28 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned March 30; preliminary hearing: April 16; bail: $10,000 cash. Riley

-Joseph John Riley, 44; third-degree fleeing police, assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer, second-offense domestic violence, and impaired driving; arrested March 31 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned April 1; preliminary hearing: April 16; bail: $10,000 cash. -Joshua Chrystian Henry LaPorte, 21; second-degree home invasion, assault with a dangerous weapon, and domestic violence; arrested March 24 by Michigan State Police; arraigned March 26; preliminary hearing: April 16; bail: $5,000 personal recognizance.

Achenbach

-Austin Taylor Achenbach, 27; third-degree child abuse; arrested March 25 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned March 26; preliminary hearing: April 16; bail: $5,000 personal recognizance.

Moreno

-Salena Alexandra Moreno, 20; third-degree arson and fourth-degree arson; arrested March 30 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned April 1; preliminary hearing: April 16; bail: $5,000 personal recognizance.

Misdemeanors

-Nichole Ann Smith, 49; fourth-degree child abuse and domestic violence; arrested March 22 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned March 27; pretrial: April 7; bail: $250 cash.

-Ellen Nichole Norman, 18; two counts of domestic violence; arrested March 10 by Michigan State Police; arraigned March 28; pretrial: April 14; bail: $500 personal recognizance. 

-Joseph James Beemer, 21; third-degree retail fraud; arrested Feb. 9 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned April 1; pretrial: April 14; bail: $500 personal recognizance.

-Riley Spencer Ward, 19; second-offense driving while license suspended; arrested March 28 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned March 31; pretrial: April 14; bail: $500 personal recognizance.

-David Alan Stinson, Jr., 46; driving while license suspended, improper license plates and no proof of insurance; arrested Feb. 23 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned March 27; pretrial: April 7; bail: personal recognizance.

-Erick Fred Kirchner, 51; transporting an open intoxicant in a motor vehicle; arrested March 21 by Mason County Sheriff’s Office; arraigned March 27; pretrial: April 14; bail: personal recognizance.

-Allen Michael Maile, 24; driving while license suspended; arrested March 19 by Michigan State Police; arraigned March 27; pretrial: April 7; bail: personal recognizance.

-Melissa Elaine Brower, 32; operating without a license on person and operating without security (no car insurance); offense date: Feb. 26; arraigned March 27; pretrial: April 7; bail: personal recognizance.

-Kaytlyn Danielle Bailey, 25; driving while license suspended; offense date: Feb. 27; charged by Ludington Police Department; arraigned March 27; pretrial: April 7; bail: personal recognizance.

-Brandon Scott Thrailkill, 31; second-offense driving while license suspended; date of offense: Feb. 19; charged by Ludington Police Department; arraigned March 27; pretrial: April 14; bail: $500 personal recognizance.

-Janet Marie Raspotnik, 60; operating without a license; offense date: March 15; charged by Ludington Police Department; arraigned March 27; pretrial: April 14; bail: personal recognizance.

-Allan Richard Lange, Jr., 60; driving while license suspended; offense date: March 7; charged by Ludington Police Department; arraigned March 27; pretrial: April 23; bail: personal recognizance.

-Travis William Malone, 30; improper trailer plates and failure to maintain security (no car insurance); offense date: March 7; charged by Ludington Police Department; arraigned March 27; plea and sentencing: April 30; bail: personal recognizance.

-Cesar Herrera Toribio, 18; failure to maintain security (no car insurance); charged March 12 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned March 27; pretrial: April 7; bail: personal recognizance.

-Kenneth Sellars, Jr., 55; disorderly conduct – fighting; charged Feb. 8 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned March 27; pretrial: April 7; bail: personal recognizance.

-Dean Jordan Adams, 23; operating an unregistered vehicle; charged March 7 by Ludington Police Department; pleaded guilty.
