AMBER TOWNSHIP — A 74-year-old Free Soil woman and a 51-year-old Scottville man were both transported to Corewell Health Ludington Hospital by Life EMS for treatment of non-life-threatening” injuries following a head-on crash Friday, March 28, shortly before noon at US 10-31 and Dennis Road, said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole. They were both drivers of the vehicles involved in the crash, said Sheriff Cole.

Friday, March 28, 2025:
- Midnight, (Michigan State Police), a 33-year-old Ludington man was arrested on a fugitive warrant, US 10 and Darr Road, Custer Township.
- 8:50 .m., (MSP), car/deer crash, US 10 and Budzynski Road, Branch Township.
- 9 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), an 18-year-old Ludington woman was arrested after she turned herself in on a two-count misdemeanor warrant for domestic violence issued by the Michigan State Police, Hart post, sheriff’s office, City of Ludington.
- 3:31 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 west of Meyers Road, Pere Marquette Township.
- 3:52 p.m., (MCSO), a 36-year-old Ludington man was arrested on multiple warrants at the Mason County Probation/Parole Office, City of Ludington.
- 7 p.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, Pere Marquette Highway and Lenz Road, Pere Marquette Township.
- 10:42 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 19-year-old Ludington man was stopped for a traffic violation in the area of Ludington Avenue and Madison Street, City of Ludington. He was found to be driving on a suspended driver’s license and was on bond. He was arrested and lodged in the Mason County Jail.
Saturday, March 29, 2025:
- 4:07 a.m., (MCSO), a 21-year-old Manistee man was arrested for operating while intoxicated following a call reporting a suspicious vehicle, 2800 block of North US 31, Sherman Township.
- 4:07 p.m., (LPD), a 22-year-old Ludington man was stopped for traffic violations in the area of South Lakeshore Drive and West Court Street, City of Ludington. He was subsequently arrested for second-offense operating while intoxicated and lodged in the Mason County Jail.
Sunday, March 30, 2025:
- 12:34 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Gordon Road south of Hansen Road, Amber Township.
